Day 31- Why do you blog?

Well its day 31 and the end of the blog challenge, I for 1 will be so sad to see it go! thanks Emma for putting it all together, its been great to read and share experiences with everyone.

I started blogging just before the challenge started and im still just getting into it, but i love it! Ive always enjoyed writing and I usually just write down my feelings then delete it or rip it up, but now I blog instead. Its a place for me to be me, and not just a mummy. Its a place to unwind. I've been reading blogs for a long time, and never thought anyone would be interested in anything i had to say. But the veiws and lovely comments proved otherwise. I would recommend it to anyone, it doesnt matter what you blog about, someone will be interested, and its such a great feeling letting everything out.

Day 30 - In my make-up bag

I couldnt live without my make-up! Its like my saviour, especially since having Jayden and not alot of sleep. I very rarely go anywhere without it.

I have a set of brushes, i find it so much easier to apply makeup with brushes. I use either dream matte mouse or mac foundation, then rimmel face powder and bronzer. I have a (slight) eyebrow obsession, so i spend the most time on them, i use a pencil, a powder and then clear mascara. I use a little bit of lip gloss and eye liner sometimes, then always curl my lashes and wear mascara. I change mascara and eyeliner all the time. Benefit is my favourite brand but it depends how much of a budget im on to wether i get it or not.

Day 28- What are you looking forward too?

Im looking forward to the rest of my life. I dont know whats going to happen in the future, I guess no-one does, but im so excited to see what is in store for me and my beautiful little family. Nothing ever seems to work out how I plan so ive given up trying to plan it. Im a strong believer that everything happens for a reason :)

We are currently saving for a mortgage. We would love our own home. Neither of us come from very 'well-off' families, so money doesnt mean alot to either of us really. Aslong as I have my family around me, then im happy :)

Being a mummy is THE hardest job!

I know every mum has been where I am right now. My poor baby isnt himself atall. Im pretty sure its his teeth, he's almost 8months old and has none yet. The past few days hes been very hot and had a temperature of 100.08 (farenheit), we rang the NHS Direct number and told them his age and symptoms and they put it down to teething. They adviced we keep an eye on his temperature and luckily its going the right way and hes down to 98 now. His skin still feels very hot to touch and hes still not eating much atall. I hope it is 'just teething' and I hope these teeth push through soon!

Day 27- A favourite recipe

Me and my partner love cooking, although hes much better than me. We've made all sorts of things, but one of our favourites has to be hunters chicken. Its chicken stuffed with cheese (motzerella works best), wrapped in bacon and smothered in bbq sauce. Goes perfectly with potatoes or chips and all sorts of veg!

Day 26-An old photo

I absolutely love looking through old photos, and although my mum never took many luckily my dad and nan and grandad did. I enjoy taking pictures too and cant wait to one day look through them with Jayden.

This is a picture of my little brother Jordan, me and our friend phillip.

Day 24- Favourite childhood book

This 1 is easy, I have 1 book that will always stand out in my mind, 'Guess how much I love you'. Just saying it makes me smile, my dad used to read it to me when I was a little girl, and now I read it to Jayden. Its such a beautiful story, and until you have children you never truely understand the meaning behind it. 'Little nutbrown hare' is trying to explain to his daddy 'Big nutbrown hare' how much he loves him, But each time 'Big nutbrown hare' betters him. I now know that there is no love that comes close to that of a parent for their child.

There are also 4 follow on books, guess how much i love you: in the spring, in the summer, in the autumn and in the winter. All just as lovely.

We've read to Jayden everynight since he was born, he loves being read to and we enjoy it too.
