The last thing I thought id be saying is 'Baby number 2 is a GIRL!' and I still cant believe it, I really felt like I was going to have all boys and had even started to plan out little matching outfits for 'him' and Jayden.
At the ultrasound our sonographer kept us in suspense for ages and decided to look at the babies sex last! I couldnt stop smiling as she checked baby over and said everything was ok :) compared to our 20 week scan with Jayden this one was much more thorough and she made me feel really comfortable.
Im so unbelieveably happy to be having a girl, but I honestly wouldnt have minded it being a boy. I plan to have atleast 1 more baby (not anytime soon though) so I wouldnt have been disappointed atall, but atleast now if im unable to have kids for any reason in the future I will have one of each. Im so excited to learn all the new things that come with having a girl.
Weve already been shopping for our girl and Kieren had to constantly remind me we were having a girl as I auyomatically went to the boys section lol.
Im going to have my hands full with the 2 of them and I imagine i'll have even less sleep but its amazing what us mummies can cope with. Theres still so much to plan and get ready but im loving being pregnant and it still amazes me how our bodies can grow a little person inside!! Arent us women just incredible?

16 Weeks pregnancy update
Im going to start by saying: WOW! I cannot believe how quickly time goes, 16 weeks already. Ok, so I know I found out quite late on but it feels like yesterday (literally) that we had the scan and found out I was 13 weeks and today im 16 +1.
Im feeling great! I was lucky and had a pretty straight forward and easy pregnancy with Jayden and so far this one has been even better. The sickness has stopped (touch wood) and other than being tired I have nothing bad to say.
I didnt start to show until around 17 weeks with Jayden but this time im already feeling big. Im not complaining though, I love it. But one thing I am missing is feeling bubba move, so far I havent really felt much, a small twinge here and there but nothing much. I felt Jayden for the first time properly at 16 weeks so im hoping to feel something soon.
This was me 17 weeks pregnant with Jayden.
And this is me now, 16 weeks pregnant with bubba number 2

MY moany man!!
Ok so this blog is going to be abit (well actually alot) of a moan about men. In particular my man!
So Jaydens 9 and a half months old now, so its only 2 and a half months until his first birthday. Ok I get that hes not going to have a clue whats going on and he wont remember any of it but thats not the point. To me its a BIG thing.
I thought it was women that were supposed to moan, but my god my partner can give any woman a run for her money right now. He moans about the money ive spent, yet its all been on things we need; he moans about how early I started palnning things, even though if I left it to him nothing would get done, and he even moans about what ive bought Jayden as presents: isnt that too old/young for him? Will he like that? Whats the point of this when hes already got that? Hes driving me insane.
Ive got 2 parties to plan, 1 for family and then 1 for his little friends, ive had to sort out dates that everyone can make, party bags for the little 1s, games they can play. Then theres food and 2 cakes to plan/make. Ive made him a card to send to cbeebies and ive still got to pick his birthday and party outfits. All important things in my eyes.
So, as you probably already know im pregnant again and this time ive told my partner hes incharge of the new bubbas 1st birthday, im not helping atall. Lets see how he gets on!! Muhahaha!

Baby Phillips Number 2
Yesterday was our first scan for Baby Phillips number 2. I never imagined i'd be as nervous the second time around, but I was MORE nervous! Everything was going through my head: 'what if theres something wrong?' 'What if it's twins? How would I cope?' And even 'what if im actually not pregnant?'.
We've known for afew weeks, but we were unsure of how far gone I was. Had my first appointment with the doctors on wednesday and she booked us straight in for our dating scan the following day. I couldn't believe how quickly it had all happened! And because it was so quick and such short notice I wasnt sure if Kieren would be able to come due to work. He was there for everything with Jayden so I knew he would want to be there. Luckily he made it and we just couldnt stop smiling the whole way through.
Came to the end of the ultra sound and we were told I was 13 weeks, we had no idea I was so far along. We were expecting 10 weeks at the most.
I was so unsure about how I would feel about it all at first. I didn't think I could love another child like I do Jayden, but from the moment I first saw he/she on the screen the same love took over and I know now that I have nothing to worry about there.

Busy busy busy..
Literally feel like I have no time to blog anymore, its depressing..
Soooo.. Being back at work has been MUCH harder than I thought it would be. After the first week I thought it would get easier. But the last 4 days have been terrible! The fact I hate it so much makes it drag even more, its just a viscious circle.
Whilst im at work my day consists of moaning/rude customers, staff bickering and an endless amount of boring jobs!! Ive now got three days off, but no doubt they will fly by. Some days when I leave both my boys are sleeping and they just look so snug and cosey, its horrible.
So much is happening at the moment, my life seems abit crazy. Hopefully when im in more of a routine it will be easier to leave this beautiful boy..

Eeeek!!!
Cant believe im actually saying this but, im pregnant with baby Phillips NUMBER 2!!! To say it was a shock is an understatement, it definitely wasnt planned, but I couldnt be happier! I havent even told my doctor yet and most of my family have only known a week. We werent going to announce it until after the 12 week scan, but Kieren got abit too excited last weekend after we went Shopping and looked at double buggies, he decided to tweet and then the word spread from there. Bless him!
My boss is the one person im finding it really difficult to tell, at the end of the year im going to leave for good. Ive been back at work 2 weeks now and all she keeps saying is how good it is to have me back. I just cant seem to find the right monent to break the news.
Im so excited and cant wait for the scans! But I dont want to wish any time away. I cant believe Jaydens almost 9 months old, time really does go so fast!

The time has come.. back to work!
So ive finally got the time to write down all my feelings. I started back at work after almost 10 months off for maternity leave. My first day, sunday, was literally the hardest day ever! Jayden woke about the same time as me (4.45am) and he just laid in his cot smiling and giggling. Made the thought of having to leave him even harder. Hes such a good boy!
The time to leave soon came around, so I kissed him and went off. The 8 and a half hours I was there went ridiculously slow. It was exhausting! I had completely forgot how tiring it actually is. I started at 6am and didnt have a break till 11 and hadnt eaten before work as I cant eat that early. I was starving and very emotional. I checked my phone and had the best message off my boys with a picture of Jayden. This cheered me up so much and got me through the next few hours. Half 2 came around and my boys were there to pick me up :) seeing Jaydens beautiful smiling face brought me instant joy.
I know its never going to be easy leaving him but its something ive got to do. Atleast the worst is over now.
